The Guild is the representative body for writers in Ireland for the stage, radio and screen. It is a member of the International Affiliation of Writers Guilds and the Federation of Scriptwriters in Europe; has a joint membership agreement with the Writers Guild of Great Britain and an agreement with the Authors Licensing and Collecting Society.
