Tinderbox was formed in 1988 and is one of Ireland’s leading independent companies. Tinderbox develops, commissions and produces dynamic new theatre plays that resonate strongly with audiences in Belfast, Northern Ireland and beyond. The company provides professional expertise and innovative programmes to inspire, nurture and support both emerging and established playwrights, and offers a specialised and versatile Outreach Programme to increase the value of its plays and productions for the communities it serves.
