Macnas is an award-winning theatre, spectacle and processional company that has toured nationally and internationally to critical acclaim. Macnas is renowned for street shows, spectacle, theatre shows and parades. In addition to their outdoor repertoire, Macnas has created award winning theatre shows and presented work in conjunction with MTV and with U2 performing as part of the Zooropa Tour (1994). Macnas theatrically transform and perform visually dynamic and stunning work indoors and outdoors, conjuring up playful, delicious and delirious stories that are extensions of the human condition.
Recent international tours include: Wilderness Festival, Oxfordshire, England (2014); St. Patrick’s Festival, Moscow, Russia (2014; 2013); WOMADelaide Australia (2013); St. Patrick’s Festivals Brisbane & Sydney, Australia (2013); and Chaoyang Spring Carnival, Beijing, China (2013).
