Cork City ballet exists to present quality ballet to the highest possible standards by offering a wide-ranging repertoire that includes new and lesser-known works as well as the established classics including Swan Lake, Giselle and The Sleeping Beauty.

Our policy is to provide performance opportunities and employment for Irish dancers, choreographers, teachers and practitioners. We strive to build on our existing international relationships, thus creating valuable exchange opportunities and absorbing the international culture of dance into Irish ballet, whilst extending the public's understanding and enjoyment of dance.

One of the signature elements of Cork City Ballet has been the incorporation of contemporary and modern dance into its classical foundation to create new and relevant ballets for our time.
