Dublin Region Touring Theatre

Dublin Regional Touring Company (DRTC) is a small hands-on company, producing relevant and arresting theatre and bringing those productions, not alone to traditional performance spaces, but also to community venues and audiences who might not normally attend a theatre. This we have largely achieved by writing and producing small-cast, portable theatre and presenting this work to a range of audiences from transition-year students to senior groups in a wide selection of locations and spaces.

Touring Policy

Our intention at the outset was to form a touring company and already we have taken our productions to Wales, The Gap Festival in Gorey, and urban venues such as the Sean O’Casey Theatre, The Clasac, Smock, The Axis, The Viking and community centres in areas such as East Wall and Ringsend. Our policy has been supported by Dublin City Council, Dublin Port, Age Friendly Ireland, The Five Lamps Arts Festival, The North-East Inner City Organisation as well as the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.
