The Everyman is one of Ireland’s leading middle scale presenting and producing theatres. The beautiful 650 seat theatre is a jewel of late Victorian architecture. A listed building, the theatre is steeped in history and is a favourite with audiences and performers alike for its intimacy and atmosphere. We are dedicated to working with theatre professionals locally and nationally to present a high standard of theatre and opera productions. In 2012 The Everyman produced and staged the Irish Times Theatre Award winning Pagliacci (Best Opera) as a co- production with Cork Operatic Society in association with Cork Midsummer Festival, Barabbas and Cork Circus. In 2013 the Everyman presented the premiere of Best Man by writer in residence Carmel Winters as a co-production with Project Arts Centre and Cork Midsummer Festival. Richard II was produced by Ouroborus in association with The Everyman to appear at The Abbey and the Everyman in spring of 2013.
