An Grianán Theatre has staged many full scale productions over the years including works by Brian Friel, Martin McDonagh and John B Keane. Creative partners to date have included Yew Tree Theatre Company, Cork Opera House, Pavilion Theatre, Civic Theatre and The Lyric, Belfast. As well as that we have toured several small scale original works including Bassam by Idan Meir, Manny Man Does the History of Ireland on Stage by John D Ruddy and currently touring both The Experience of Being by Carol Moore and The Songbirds by Guy Le Jeune.

In addition we have produced a number of community arts projects including large scale productions of The Winter's Tale and A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare, Thomas Kilroy’s The O’Neill and Brian Friel’s The Aristocrats which afforded local amateur and semi-professional performers the opportunity to work alongside theatre professionals. We have also developed a number of original plays celebrating the the culture and heritage of Donegal including Fiesta, Unified, On The Camel's Hump, Shooting the Gear and I Would Walk These Fields Again which were developed as part of the theatre's, artist in Residence programme."
