Since it began touring John B. Keane's The Matchmaker in 2001, City Theatre Dublin has grown into the largest provider of touring theatre productions in Ireland. City Theatre will continue to develop and investigate new models of touring, providing work ranging from mainstream audience pullers like Mrs. Whippy to boundry pushing community arts paticipatory theatre like Dancing at the Ballroom of Romance.
