The DLI is the resource organization for amateur drama practitioners. Services include a dedicated library of play scripts open to the public at The Mill Theatre every Tuesday , Wednesday and Thursday 10-3pm. Theatre training by way of the provision of workshops, and an annual summer school for actors and directors. Additional services include a membership and insurance scheme for amateur companies and a magazine three times a year. The DLI is also the Irish agent for amateur performing rights of the plays of John B Keane, Josef Weinberger Plays, The Society of Authors and others
