RUA RED South Dublin Arts Centre is based in Belgard Square Tallaght. Founded in 2009, It’s one of the largest multi-disciplinary arts venues in Ireland featuring a performance venue, 2 galleries, State of the art dance studio, meeting rooms, multiple rehearsal studios, a multi-media lab, artist studios and a café-bar. Existing to promote the creation, practice, enjoyment and understanding of arts and culture to the widest possible public, RUA RED aspires to do this through showing and commissioning new work, curating visual art exhibitions, providing residency and support opportunities for individuals and companies, and providing a public events programme of learning and practical workshop development. Attracting an annual footfall of over 200,000, RUA RED is firmly rooted in programming for the local community. Performances can take place in RR’s Performance Space, Dance Studio and special performances can also be facilitated in the white cubed gallery space at certain points in the year.
